Added a console in between the 6x6 seats to house the radio/stereo, Codan HF, HD power points for the engel etc plus spare switches for things to come  :). I have also added insulation and marine carpet to the whole interior of the cab as well as a Red Dot rooftop aircon. Made it a lot quieter and considerably cooler inside.  ;D

Probably the best internal upgrade I have seen, very neat.

Thanks for the positive comments, it did take a while to get it done but was worth it in the end. Reason I made it like I did was I wanted to keep the dash pretty much standard apart from the extra gauges but also wanted room to fit the engel in between the seats in front of the console.  :)

Hey Brian ... Nice Work!
Where / how did you mount the HF set?

Thanks Daryl. The head unit is up near the top of the console and the base and rest of it is mounted on the back wall in behind the console.

I wasn't quite as creative as you, but I placed the NGT power unit on the seat bulkhead as well ... fits perfectly after moving the fire extinguisher upward slightly, as well as accommodating the defender console box.

Cheers,  Daryl.

Gday,
I took mine over a weigh bridge.
2700 kg.
That was pretty much empty.

Which variant ?

I put my RFSV over the weigh bridge last year as part of the Western Australian licensing requirements. After I stripped the spare wheels, jerry cans, tools and running pretty much on empty it came in at 2490Kg's. That was running 4 Combat rims though. Could have lost another 50Kg's if I had standard 110 rims on I would of thought. I think in deployment a RFSV would be over 2800 Kg's!
