Took mine to the Qld Mil. Jeep Club Swap meet at Cunungra on the weekend.

Could give you a picture of all the Mil LandRovers that were there.
But that would bore you.
So here's a piccy of a friendly local who had a pleasant encounter with a Ferret.  Ha.

No, you can't have any more details.

Shouldn't this shot be moved to the "What have you hidden from your Missus" thread?

Some people at that particular meet obviously had other things on their minds apart from military vehicles! ;)

The ferrets attracted beauties of all ages!

Glen

I know this is not today but what I did in my Perentie the last two weeks, to bad I can not upload photos from my iPad or iPhone like in the biginning when I just joined but I can give some info....
Duration of trip was two weeks.
Covered 4,674km from my house to Five rocks beach 40km or so North of Yepoon was my turn around point and back home.
My Perentie used 511,12 liters of fuel on this trip, this covered every concevable type of driving.....highway, secondary roads, off road, serious sand, low range, beach, gravel, and a mountain pass so beautyful I actually tund around at the top went down and up again.
She used 300 ml oil, but I think it was just because I changed brand and viscosity a few days before the trip and the morning we left I checked the oil and topped it up and never again, I will do a total enging and drive train oil change tomorrow, did it before the trip and I am just interested to see what the drive train oil looks like, and a full wash down to get rid of all the salt water and dirt of the trip.
Now I cant wait for the next trip to Perth the end of this year but it will be in my Rangy not the Perentie.

Cool shots (there is a double up?) I love water crossing rover shots (because of camping in Castrol way back when)

a bit off topic.. but; You dont necessarily have to 'hide' something to want to block your number plates. Its 2015 -  the internet is full of scammers and unhappy people with time on their hands.. So I try not to entertain the chance, after all its just a privacy block. Personally my biggest fear would be for a picture of my truck to become a meme haha.

You just need someone who is disgruntled to ...
complain about your driving style (***-*** ran me off the road!)
or complain about littering (***-*** threw a cigarette butt out the window)
or complain about damage to 4wd tracks (***-*** didnt have permission to be there and ruined a rare rock!)
or report a false hit for insurance (such and such hit my vehicle and ran, it was a green army truck with plates ***-*** that didnt damage theirs)

none of these have to be true, to create a time-sink and red-tape battle. Theres a 0.0002 % chance of it ever happening..

At the end of the day, you have to decide for yourself what the bigger risk is. Removing licence plate numbers is never going to get you in trouble...?
