So the buggy isn't in the favourite Landy list, you'd better give it to Digger then!  ;)

I drove to work in the Snr Commander (48623) for the first time across Melbourne from Bayside to Essendon across the Bolte bridge and along the freeway.  All good,  she gets up to about 90 and past that gets rather uncomfortable (read sensory overload)...  See my note re oil leak discovered in the mechanical section if anyone has any ideas.  i discovered it when i got to work so maybe something to do with the longish drive at speed has upset something that has been sitting for a while ?

I also noticed a rather annoying mechanical rattle at idle when the clutch is not engaged, any thoughts before I start the long investigation process at idle in the driveway.

Hi, the rattle at idle when the clutch is out will be the springs in the clutch plate being loose and rattling without any pressure on them - a typical issue with the 4BD1's

nothing to worry about just a personality trait!

Scott
