Perentie FFR canvas tops.
« on: May 24, 2016, 09:13:59 PM »
I have an opportunity to purchase an FFR top custom made for a GS.
I have a couple of questions.
Does the FFR canvas have an extra layer of something under the canvas? I'm assuming it is to stop light getting out, but does it act like insulation?
My old Series 3 FFR had a curtain that dropped down behind the driver seat - does the Perentie top have the same???
The top I'm looking at has zippered windows and a GS rear section so I'm looking at it for a spare, or fit it and keep my current 18 month old top as a spare.

Yes to the extra layer on sides and rear. Warmer. There is a front seat curtain of matching same silver vinyl. So 4 silversides, but not the ceiling.

Hi Alan
I had my gs canopy made with the FFRs lining and it is good. It make it a bit quieter inside and a bit warmer. If I had my time over I would do the same again.
Cheers
