Does anyone know of a source (preferably in/around BNE) for Michelin XZLs?
I may be wrong here but I think they are like rocking horse stuff as they are no longer sold in Australia. As I said I may be wrong.

These are listed on the Michelin AU site but all the sizes are quite large: http://transport.michelin.com.au/tbtyre/findalltyre/getTyreDetail/125/Z

Called Michelin today to find out more about the XZLs. They are available you just have to find a dealer who will get them in. I was told by a place in Brisbane today that they could have them within 48-36hrs.

7.50 R16

Apparently they are on special from Michelin (so I was told)

Will see when I pick them up on Saturday

Next cheapest quote was $350/tyre. Most expensive was $480.

Ok. New Michelin XZLs now acquired. Cost was 265/tyre because they didn't have the right tubes and weren't able to fit them to the actual rims.

Hi All,

FYI
I sent off a request to Michelin about some 7.50x16 XZL's to replace my Dunlop Super Grippers on the Series 3. Their reply is below.

Thanks for your query, in relation to your query the size 7.50R16C XZL 116N. RRP is $326.36 + gst per tyre only, this price however, is only a guide as Michelin Australia cannot dictate the price at which authorised Michelin dealers sell our tyres to consumers. You will need to contact your local Michelin Dealer for fitment and a quote. Please see dealer locator: http://www.michelin.com.au/index.html Kind Regards, Michelin Australia.

So off to my local dealer Tyrepower,
Tim
