Vehicles for Sale / 1981 FFR for sale
« Last post by gromit on March 16, 2026, 06:49:15 PM »
After spending years getting this one sorted out I'm not using it enough to justify keeping it.
It was at Corowa this year & last year plus the Anzac Day parade at Cranbourne.

Repainted last year in camo pattern.
New roof panel in the canopy.
Blackout lights work.
Full length exhaust fitted but I have the parts for the front mounted exhaust.
4 radio tables.
Ariel mounts.
New piston rings, motor was refurbed in service (+.020" pistons +0.010" bearings)
Brake system overhauled, new slaves, master stainless sleeved, new shoes.
Carby ultrasonically cleaned and new gasket set fitted.
Swivel hubs overhauled & new seals.
Some wheel bearings replaced, all hub seals replaced.
Some UJ's replaced (I can't remember which ones now).
Front seats have new bases and are re-upholstered.
Door window runners replaced.
Currently fitted with Steeltreks.

Can come with a spare 6-cylinder engine.
There's also a spare set of the correct rims.
I also have a set of NOS white mudflaps, those fitted have been painted black.

Pictures & details of work done are on AULRO

I'm not negotiating via text messages or emails.

110 Research / Re: CES Perentie Kit,

These are two that came with my UNIMOG CES kits, bought in the resent auctions. There are no stamps other than the arrowhead. Both from different manufacturers as can be seen by the build quality.

I see a beaked oil pourer, 1 pint, in there, too.

Galvanised: is it marked as to manufacturer, please?

Mike
This is from my CES kit that I bought in the early 90?s for my Series 2a.
The NSN is 7240-66?021-5710
Maker is CECIL & co

I will also send via facebook as that seems more popular than these forums.

Gday Brian, I'd say a rare example these days of a manufacturer developing a prototype for ADF white fleet.  Must have been knocked out early for some reason.

A much more comfortable option than the Perentie 6x6.  :)
