Dodgy Bros TRE seals

I have recently replaced all of the steering rod ends on my S1 and S3 only to find that they have disintegrated, whilst parked inside  Just as bad were the steering relay seals and the expander boot on the handbrake - none of these rubbers ever got used before self-destructing!

What I would like to know from you is any success you have had with new rubbers and where did you buy them from. It is probably not a good idea to name the businesses that sell dodgy rubbers.

I replaced my relay box seals with ones from a bearing shop; so far so good but I will let you know in a year's time,

I don't know if the seals originally sold in Australia were a different compound, but must say that a number of door and vent seals I've acquired from the UK over the years almost seem to melt into a gooey mess after a couple or three years.
