Lets have a stab at the final bid on the 4x4 Wagon Personnel Carrier, 483468)
$21,609!   Plus GST + Fees.

FFRMan is the closest guess, but what should he win?

I've moved from Coronas to James Squire 150 lashes. That will be fine! Lol

Hey Scott,

Have you had a VB lately ?

They have gone back to the original formula - very nice 👍

I hope I haven't breached any advertising rules of the forum saying that ?  - sorry in advance . 😊

Cheers,

Mick

Picked up one of the front axle assembly's at the auction .. now getting it home seems a slightly bigger challenge than I thought  >:( >:(

I am only 2 km from the auction house and thought a couple of the boys, lift one end of the crate and drag it onto the trailer and off we go  :-\ :-\

But they state it weighs 300 kg .. so guessing that 3 of us cannot lift it onto a trailer ??  Maybe not ??  I have a block and tackle and could drag a frame down .. is that going to work ??

You advice on the following would be greatly received ...

So for those that have already acquired heavy parts what is the best way to get them home ?  Okay solved ... They will Forklift onto my trailer ..
Did they help with a fork lift or something to load onto a trailer?   Answer YES  :) :)

Cheers ...

Update ..

Rang Frontline contact .. they have a fork lift and will work out how get it onto the trailer  so 1st problem solved  :) :)
Have a block and tackle, just need to get a frame to hook it on so I can get it off

I suppose everyone in Mudgee knows a nice little merlot or two, but what are the kind you'd see in Minto?

All ten complete 4x4 soft tops sold for between $10 309 and $11 709 each (average $10800). Not a bad result. Maybe the publicity about the end of Defender production causing increasing values is true!

@ Melbourne
1 RFSV w'Kit  is tenixed and over all fair, but wait, what's this?!?   Photos of the rust and damage! someone has had an attack of conscience or something!
ANother has a lot of extras. We know what that means, don't we?
48 030 is up with signs of rebuild

Minto
48 033, well used but original. still has the hasp and staples
RFSV has had major work done. near original spec. Ha, The side brush bars are now 'Side Rail intrusion bars'!! LOL they are intrusive if you bang your shins on them!
And yes, the Wagon is a little worse for wear.

I know this is probably an old thread now - but thought I would just note that 48-030 now lives on a farm in gippsland.
crossed paths with it today, does not appear to be in good repair.

Thanks for the update mate. Shame to hear that it has gone from pretty fair to less so.
Inevitable really.
I have had a few people contact me and let me know that the Guide stopped them from cutting up an important vehicle. Small mercies.
Kind Regards, Barefoot Dave.
