I took a snapshot at 4:30pm (end of auction at 0 minutes) as it was closing and it was $21,109, however if there was an active bid within the last 30 mins it may have added a $100 or more.

In the Sydney auction, there are 2 cannabalised Ambulances, with their engines being sold separately (look at the heater hoses and aircon). Be nice to see some components being made available from parted-out vehicles! Where are the 6x6 gearboxes??

Probably the worst Investment buying one of these, if you were thinking of buying one to rebuild, good luck, bonnets missing, $2000+ new and none 2nd hand, new door $1200, dash board well nothings on one so $$$$ plus the engine.

Chassis could be worth having for the time when someone might need one, but they will only want to pay a few hundred for it, bodys worth a few hundred maybe. Missing engine add $ 4/5 K

Well, I already have one 2nd hand 6x6 bonnet and know where there's 2 others, already have a driver's and passenger's door as spares. Anything else can be found, but there's no way anyone would be paying Landybitz prices! Why would you price the engine at $4/5k, when the vehicle's original 4BD1T is listed in the same auction and will likely sell for substantially less than that?

You might that does not make them grow on trees does it., and i was talking about new doors, not crappy old ones.

True things turn but there hardly off the shelf parts.

And Landybitz don't sell engines, but if you think you can get a new engine for less than 4/5k please point me in the right direction. Those engine listed are not new or for that matter reconditioned, so technically you could end spending a lot more than 4/5k on having one rebuilt because you were silly to buy a dud.
