Hi Pete,

She was olive drab only. It was brand new when I saw here, and don't quote me but I vaguely recall talking about its price which was 96k .

We couldn't see the money ?

Cheers,

Mick

Sounds like she's could still be there then !   Although there were a few Carryall's / Comd Vehicle that remained Olive Drab. CO 2 Sig Regt had one in 93/94 and I remember seeing a couple at Moorebank about 5 years ago.

It does appear to be a lot of money, but when looking at the price it's not just the vehicle. It would have included support costs and spares forecasted over its Life of Type.

Cheers,

Pete

Just looked at the inspection report for the carryall at Minto - they have it down as a two door, two passenger vehicle....  :o

I'd expect the compliance plate would be what the RTA would look at for rego...Has anyone looked at what a carryalls plate says ?

is this model fitted with air con ?. the picture of the engine bay shows a a/c compressor.

So is anybody bidding on IPV 7 ??
This vehicle does have A/C fitted, although I suspect the new owner will soon be familiar fitting new fanbelts as the pulleys are badly out of alignment and will throw belts readily. The plumbing for the A/C in the rear body is exposed and may not be "Family friendly".

Did you notice the mildew on the back of the rear bench seat? The front face and cushion is just as bad!

It's amazing how times have changed Polizei. Not that long ago, $700-900 for a No.5 was unthinkable. $1500-2500 was the going rate.... if you could get one.

I was bidding on a #5, wasn't going to spend too much, drew the line at the $700 mark, did notice some really strange things in the bidding history as they counted down the last hour, one bid at the 700 mark with the next bid at the same price being the winning bid at the time. noticed this on a couple of the trailers matching bids, but one outdoing the other.

greysonline has an unusual bidding system compared to ebay. They describe it on their website in a way that makes sense of the scenario above.
