Are the military series 2/2a wheel,rims just standard land rover?

The series 2 rims where rivetted and the 2A rims spot welded but otherwise pretty much standard as far as I know

Then 110/Perentie rims ROH Australia AYG8108 ( 6.0" x 16") with larger offset

G'day Folks   :)

The Aust chose the Landrover Part No 272309 well based rim it being a  5.5 inch x 16inch with a 1&13/16ths inch offset as their standard Landrover and 1/2ton trailer wheel, this then simplified their inventory,other wheels were trialed in the early/mid 50's when the vehicles were undergoing trials.

Other wheel rims which were used on Series 3's were AYG-3038 (Aust Manf) NRC-7578 (UK Manf)
also AYG-8108 which was a 6.00F x 16 of ROH manf, these I think were also on the early army 110's
