Soon to be leaving NSW for sunny WA.
The deal clencher was she is a WA vehicle that has ended up over East?!
No rust in chassis or bulkhead. Re-cond motor, new everything to get over the pits.
But still has old patina.Seats in back, black out switches etc...
Just need sticks and a canopy...
Small missing items all in the shed ready to go!

G'day Cliffy,
Nice pick up , I hope you find the vehicle coming from the East in better shape than I found mine coming from the West - if you know what I mean ?
Good luck with her , I know I love my shorty.
Cheers,
Mick

That ARN is very close to Mick's GS too.
I checked my data. Nothing found yet at the AWM, no SVN photo (closest one is 112-788 Provos). Its also unknown to the registry - makes me wonder where it was being stashed -surely someone should've noticed it and reported it to us. Lots of REMLR members have surviving Landies with ARNs in the 112-7xx "zone": (thats the blue ARNs in the screenshot)

Apparently it was shedded for 16 years.
The guy I got it from runs busses and it was bought for his apprentices to practice on where mistakes are cheap unlike coaches.
He kept if for ANZAC day parades in Wagga Wagga to parade with and old digger mate to old to march.
On his passing he decided to sell her.
The 50 pics the mechanic sent me spelled out what I had stumbled onto.

Hi Cliffy,
Carzee's right my Shortie is 112 781 and spent its service life in WA . It didn't deploy to SVN and I bought it from the 2nd owner after auction REMLR member 359 Will in SA.
Our two vehicles could possibly travelled to WA together.
Cheers,
Mick

It looks fairly unmolested under the bonnet other than the relay for the air horns, cheers Dennis

I'd be the 3rd owner of 112-785c
When the bus guy got it, he motor was smoked. Still dyno powered and while they have fitted an alternator, he found the old dyno and it's coming over too!
All parts used were sourcesd from ULR so hopefully only good parts used.
I spent more than I usually do but I really don't have to spend much to get it pitted and back to parade condition.
Hmmm...need a nato plug.
