Hi guys.
I have just joined REMLR as a result of inquiries for "Workshop Trailer Canopies" by a forum member.
I am Rudolf, owner of the Australian Canvas Company.Since 1968 ( yes

I'm getting old) I have been involved in manufacturing canvas goods for the Aust. Military
(Army, Navy & RAAF) and can still make most of their products to the Aust Military specs, and to more economical versions.
Workshop trailer canopy discussions with your member led to considering a small batch of such canopies.
However, coordinating a small batch order from other members looks to be quite difficult for my customer,
and possibly financially risky as well.
So......may I offer to collate such an order.
All I need is an emailed expression of interest, within say the next 4 weeks, from anyone interested.
Then I'll work out a competitive (best) price according to the qty required,
following which each individual would, like normal, pay a deposit to order their canopy.
Once all the deposits are in hand, manufacture would be instigated.
It should be noted that the 270gsm corespun spec fabric is no longer commercially made,
but I can have it made to order in a minimum qty, without the FR treatment.
However that qty is more than 10 of the Workshop Trailer Canopies requires.
That era military Land Rover also had their canopies made from the same fabric,
so that would leave fabric to make such LR canopies as well (I made many or them for the Army during the 70s).
Anyone interested in them as well?

If qty is insufficient for a batch of spec cloth manufacture,
I do have excellent quality, similar looking, olive green fabric currently
commercially available, which will save lots of $$$$.
Regards
Rudolf
