Hesian instead of camnet.. lighter to set up... gives better shade in that heat... or maybe the Q had cam net on backorder.
All I do know is wet hesian stinks a bit, and it does tend to rain a lot in the late afternoon.
I also see clark masts, poles with mushrooms, and an ARB style brushguard. As for the radio gear...

 :D :D :D :D
About 2100 last night Stevie got a message via farcebook that there was a fresh advertisement for a FFR (literally posted on the net 5 minutes before) for sale in Newcastle.
Stevie wanted to go to this month's AFM sale at Minto but missed out. A few minutes later, Stevie made plans to inspect the one just advertised.
Stevie left Canberra early, drove up to Newie in the old falcon and purchased his first Landy, a Perentie FFR, a month older than ours, it is 50-169.  8) 8) 8) 8) Scott inspected it for him and they tested it the transfer/box out at Pelican /Blacksmiths (an area I used to visit with Castrol many years back).

Hi Dave, no snork at all. Lots of CES  incl. but the jack is MIA.
Stevie just arrived here an hour back and I've got a first hand look at the logbook. All activity before '03 is wiped. Nothing before the Tenix rebuild Apr '03. Then a "Taken on charge" note for 1RAR BN GP Aust Batt VIII, East Timor, 12 July '03. Then 6RAR Nov '03. Then in Nov '04 it goes to Tenix line again, steam clean, major overhaul and engine repl. (147hrs). Then 17th CSSB from '06 when it was formed, stayed there for over a decade.
