PT2-2 behind a Perentie 4x4
« on: August 17, 2015, 06:20:57 PM »
Very quick question,
is anyone currently using a Haulmark PT2-2 coupled with their Perentie 4 x 4, I was after your opinion on performance and overall satisfaction.
Why am I asking, because I'm looking at one from auction to use (sides off) to possibly put my Ford GPW Jeep onto.

Regards
Phil

It would be cheaper to buy/build a car trailer and paint it Auscam.
I'll be painting my trailer Auscam soon.

I think you'd be over the load limit for towing on the Pintle and rear chassis.

Hi b52, do you plan to reposition the lunette ring for towing wth a Perentie?

There shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks B52,
as mentioned there is the AUW consideration, while the trailer can take the weight of a GPW, can a Perentie 4 x 4 tow that much weight......

I've towed Perenties on a trailer with a Perentie quite comfortably so a jeep would be no problem.
