Brake Booster
« on: July 09, 2015, 12:34:58 PM »
Hi there team, looking for advice on where I can get a brake booster for the '89 Perentie, as mine is not able to be reco'd. Stocks are limited in the NT so will need to go elsewhere!
I believe the old part number was VH524, but have attached a couple of images to be sure. Stockists or alternate solutions are appreciated.
Happy days, Naviguru

Try calling Triumph Rover spares in lonsdale in SA - they have at least 1 perentie being wrecked.

British Off Road in SEQ also wrecked a couple of Perenties, I recently purchased some Perentie bits there.

Also check Parts for sale and Vehicles for sale on this site.
Quite a few Perenties have been parted out after being purchased.

then

then call 1300369727 to find a retailer...

Supercheap has the lowest mark-up on Bosch I have found. In the past I have done all the donkey work and just gave then the part number and all was good.

Hope it works out for you.
Phil

BTW expect to pay well over $300-$400 for a new one  :o, Did you know that there are exchange services around for this as well. Ask you local...

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks to all of you for getting back to me with ideas and sources for the booster.
I have managed to track one down from Triumph Rover Spares and it is inbound to Darwin. Looking forward to sharing updates on Dirty Charlie as he gets on the road.
Happy Days!

Even though its solved now, mine has one off a HQ holden. Was the same apparently and a dam site easier to find!
