SIII FFR battery box mud guard
« on: February 10, 2015, 08:22:49 PM »
Today I noticed that this panel has fallen off due to weld failure, courtesy of corrugated roads  :( Despite my attempts to find it remains lost. It's the panel at the rear of the battery box, in front of the rear wheel.

Just wondering if any exist out there from wrecks?  If possible I'd like an original rather than a making a new one.

all help greatly appreciated, cheers, Daryl

Bugger: I cut two up recently when I scrapped an SIII FFR.

Cookey may be able to supply, he has an FFR that has the body cut off above the seat boxes.

Remind me, is it attached to the battery mount/chassis or inside the seat box/wheel well?

I picked up an FFR body a while ago which is sitting at the back of the shed, it may be easier to get.

Which side do you need?

Hi Diana, it's attached to the trailing edge of the battery mount chassis. The batteries are now exposed viewing from the wheel arch. I need the left hand side. From the wheel arch looking forward one could think it was the inner guard.

Gedday Mick

many thanks for the offer! I'll let you know how I get on with Diana and or Cookey. I'm not certain but at a guess I'd say it could be picked up from Cookey's place?
