Hey folks,
I'm about to sort out my malfunctioning Winch PTO and in preparation, I'd like to get the RPS for it ... any info greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about it.  Mines works OK.
What are the symptons ???   Does it make noise,  is the problem at the gearbox or the
PTO shaft.  Does the toggle under your seat pull the cable to engage the drive dog.
Describe what it's doing and someone might know more than me

G'day Daryl,

The information you need is here:

http://remlr.com/emei-perentie110.html

Look at the file "Veh G 104-1, Issue 1 - 4x4 General Service & General Service With Winch Base Repair", starting at page 72. It talks about setting the clutch torque.

Hi Greg and Dervish,
Pull the handle and the selector shaft on the PTO goes in all the way, but no engagement of the dogs.
The driven sprocket on the PTO shaft is rotating.
When I go to rotate the winch driveshaft with the winch dogs disengaged, the shaft will only turn about 180*.  Don't know what's going on there, so it's coming out.
I'd like to get my eyes on the RPS for the PTO, as I'm fairly certain parts will be needed.
Thanks for the replies.

P.S. I'm sure I've looked through all the rps links on the main site.
After looking through the EMEI, it's probably one of those pesky grub screws on the selector shaft.

Rightio.
Stop looking ... I've found / got it!
It's part of RPS *2227 (truck, SRV ... and probably part of anything else that came with that winch).
Group UC ... PTO Housing and Chain.
Group UCA ... PTO Bearing and Selector Housing and Chain.
Group UCB ... PTO and Torque Limiter.
Group UCC ... PTO Control Cable.
Group UCD ... Winch Drive Line.

Thanks to all who looked for it.

Cheers,  Daryl.

My apologies, I got you confused with someone whose winch torque limiter was set too low. Glad you found what you were looking for.

No problem Dervish ... I'm a very confusing fellow.   Although, you can go to sleep tonight, warm and fuzzy safe in the knowledge that your post did help, thanks.    ;D

Reviving an old thread but keen to know the outcome Daryl. What was wrong with it?

Sorry Brian,

Must have dozed off ....  ;D

Won't know till I pull it apart, which won't be until the original LT95 is rebuilt and ready to swap in.
I'll keep you up to date ....
Cheers,  Daryl.

At last all is revealed ....

Though the grub screw was tight and Loctited, WTF did they think the shaft dimple was for???
Also missing the detent spring, although this might have been an EMEI for removal due to cable probs?

Cheers,  Daryl.

Both winches (8000lb and 9000lb) have a RPS on the main site, thanks.

Hi tona,
I'm pretty sure all the Perenties were equipped with the 'taper roller bearing' intermediate shaft in their transfer case and as such are LT95A.

Cheers,  Daryl.
