Can some one offer me a little back ground information on the types of black out fitted.
The dash light and rear under side light look the same.
Also i was surprised to see this kind of wiring set up, hardly water proff.... was this standard fit??

Yes, the dash light and rear diff/convoy light are the same.
The wiring is more or less original and always troublesome as the vehicles got older!.
