G'day FFR Series 3.

That must have been a good weekend for picking up Series 3 FFRs in cammo in Queensland. If you look under the Series 3 & Stage 1 thread I posted some photographs of my Series 3 FFR that I got from Murgon! Goes by the name of Batty. I am in Bundaberg.

Have you looked up your ARN for the vehicle yet? My FFR is 29-792 and it was made in November 1978 and came into service on the 19/12/1978.

Go to the link http://remlr.com/index_ARNs.html. Look over at the left-hand column and click on Series 3 ARNs
The black plate to the far-left plate on the passenger end of the seat box will have the chassis number.

Once you get to the first group of ARNs REMLR ARN link (26-000 to 27-000+) open up the "Edit & Find function and type in the Chassis number off the plate and open each page of numbers and hit the find button to locate the chassis number.

The rest of the sections should provide you with the Army Registration Number and what engine the vehicle was originally fitted with.

Kind Regards
Lionel
