The 101FC now owned by 101Ron had been rebuilt by BAe, and when owned by a previous owner in the late 90's (purchased as a direct release from Defence) also had it's matching trailer built by BAe. I seem to recall it looking very similar to these , but I will have to dig through some old photos to see if I have recorded it.

The mid-90's rebuild/refurb of the 101 would have occurred after the retirement of the Rapier system, and/or the introduction of the 6x6 Air Defence Perentie, so perhaps the trailer was designed as a re-purposing of the 101?

Ta. Know about that one. It has an interesting tow assembly detail.

The hitch assembly is mounted below the A frame. On mine, the hitch assembly is mounted above.

I would love to get my hands on a Rapier Resupply Trailer. I have a piece of one. This is not one of those.

The 101's were disposed of before this trailer was built. I don't think they are related. I did think it may have been used behind a 6x6. Similar track width. Or maybe a Unimog?

Is the Rapier Supply trailer the same as the UK ones?

My understanding is there were a few minor differences.

Looks like an old '1 tonne' trailer with a different (prototype?) body.

Made here or over there?

Yes. It is.
However, it doesn't have as many leaves in the springs and has shock absorbers fitted.
There are a few mods on the hitch which suggests they were tinkering with stopping the lunette from rotating.

They were built in the UK and supplied with the 101's as a weapons package.

Remember that the rapier continued to be used by the 6x6 air defence land rovers after the 101's left service.  made for one of them

Tac plate holders are odd, one in front of the other?

Maybe made to be used with the system that replaced the rapier RB70 I think?  or some such.

There are a few things that are very odd.
The tub is undamaged. Not a scratch. I think the trailer was unused.
The TAC holders (4 of them) on the back of the trailer and on the guards.
A bit of what looks like rather agricultural mods at the hitch.
I still believe the prototype idea. It'd look good behind the 6x6. Still would like a Haulmark tandem.
