Well its mine   :)
Took a while to post - first time - as live in the US at moment.
Bid remotely and although $300 more than I was prepared to pay, staying up to 0230 in morning thought stuff  it, a couple hundred more wont hurt.

Had daughter check it out prior, photos galore, photo every page of log books etc.

Had one of the Tenix complete rebuilds and only 26,000 kms since - well log books seem to support that.

So remote mods to start so ready to go bush next time in Oz.

John

PS, where's the instructions to link photo's  :o

Great score!
That is about as complete a rebuild as I have seen!
Someone must have made a good case to rebuild it and overcome the 'Non-Economical to repair' argument.

Cheers, Dave.

Wow! I'll take a stab at that write up and guess $75,000 for that rebuild. Must be showroom condition.

By the way, welcome to REMLR.

Thanks for the photo of the logbook... and I realise you're not in the same country as your Landy yet, as you said, but since your FFR is almost new it would make a great example of that variant for a walk around video and a "Pam" type video. Whatever you can organise. Something to think about anyway, we're looking for videos for the REMLRchannel on youtube.

cheers
Ross

It looks like it was done in June 2002 as the log books then show dyno run, test runs etc and speedo reset.
But since then it has travelled the 26,000 kms and log books seem to match that, i.e. the amount of services done over time and the recorded speedo entry.

Its not super tidy I must say, but mechanically I am told is very good.

Should I add a NEW engine was put in a few months/1106 kms after the above rebuild, maybe somebody messed up.

If anyone wants to see what log books like like happy to post the photo's i have, these are mainly the work performed, date and kms performed and then aggregate service hrs total..

May be interesting for people to view what log books look like????

I have to check and see, I think I have a series 3 and a trailer logbook example, but not sure if I have a 110 one yet, if you have the capacity, a digital copy might be a good example one to put up.

How many hours did the rebuild take ?
My GS had a Tenix rebuild in 2007, it took 999.5 hours.
