Hi to all
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce The Ram Rod to the forum. I was lucky enough to have a win th the Melbourne auction to day. The Land Rover Gods smiled on me today. The secret to winning is simple, I arose this morning after the auction had played on my mind all night again with a vision so I climbed to the top of the firey volcano on the edge of town and I sacrificed 15 virgin to the God of Land Rover. I left the mountian a winner. Give it a go.

Looks like there'll be a lot of happy campers after that Melbourne auction

There's often a few questions as to what they sold for so here it is - as a dump from the graysonline site

Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne in that order      if the post is pointless or too big moderator please feel free to remove it  :)

No problems its the sort of thing people want in this thread ;D

Ah! So you outbid me!
Well won sir.
I think I'll wait for some if my "tagged" units to come up for sale.
Might be waiting a while though..:

Well done HotRover, It is a great vehicle - RAMROD!

Well I'll put my hand up, after much dissappointment in missing out on a Tarin Kowt vehicle in the December auctions I made sure I got the one this time.

So I now own 48-664

Now got to sort out the logistics of getting it home without a certain family member working out what's going on! might need to strategically place it in amongst a few series 3 and 2A's and "hide" it for a while! Lol

Will be driving it and the FFR to Corowa, just need another driver, oh yeah my son's a steerer I'll transfer him to my fleet for the weekend!

Regards
Scott

Well done  Scott I didn't see you at the auction. Now we know what you wanted the ignition lock for. The reality of the last couple of days hasn't sunk in yet I woke up this morning feeling a bit flat as I have been living on the edge consumed bu auction fever, I will have to find something to to fill the day in now I can't keep checking the auction out. Might run into you on pickup day.

Never get bitter loosing auctions unless I find out that there was shill bidding going on or the auction mysteriously ends as the vendor had a BIN offer and decides to take it instead of letting the auction run it's course.
I still would love to drive a vehicle back West so a Minto vehicle is the go anyway (blue slip).
Well done FFRMAN! You got your pick too!

If anyone needs something picked up from Minto, I'm off next week so can run down to Graysonline and pick it up.  Getting a bit experienced with this now!

Hi there

I do the same..........but I now have a problem now how to extend the shed without confessing what is within!!

I am happy for you all, as they are still a very capable machine - and excited as its a turning of the tide after the previous series Military auctions (2A's etc.)
