Series 2 Short Wheel Base Forward Area Ambulance Canvas Hoops
« on: February 14, 2022, 01:11:15 PM »
Hello All,

Just wondering whether anyone here is familiar with the positioning of the hoops to hold up the canvas cover surrounding the stretchers and how the hoops were attached the body of the Forward Area Ambulances?

I have been contacted by someone who is  converting a Series 2 short wheel base Land Rover into a replica of an FAA. They are missing some finer details about placement of parts. I would appreciate your help so I can pass the information on.

There is a page about FFAs Accessed 14th February 2022 from, https://remlr.com/2afaa.php.

Kind regards
Lionel

Hello Boxy,

Thank you for your reply. I do not think they would be after another FAA as their one is already on the road. Just short of some final placements for the canvas hoops. Could you take some measurements?

I just sent you a Private Message.

Kind regards
Lionel
