Is this normal for a Sub

Have a look at this picture  of USS Oklahoma City (SSN 723) is all that allege normal

Its not actually tied up at a dock its along side with the Frank Cable submarine tender.. wonder if its been out on mission for a very long time.

good point, maybe its just been resting some place and the algae must be very quick growing..

According to wiki she spent 26 months in overhual ending march 2011 so may have spent a bit of that time alongside the sub tender :)
