I have an FFR and with the leftover camping gear on board I weigh in at about 2.5 t. I drive it daily mostly to and from work stopping every kilometre for lights. I did a trip to Fraser Is, although not camping staying at Eurong, I still carried 40 lts of extra fuel, 30 lts water, fridge, coffee machine etc and fuel use did not seem to change much.
If I remember correctly the whole trip was about 600 ks and I got between 10 and 11 lts/100k. I may get better than 10 at 100 to 110 on the highway, but it's a pretty decent average and the same around town in traffic. I don't tend hold the ponies back when taking off from the lights.
I do think it may be running a little short on fuel past about 50% rev, something I can't be certain of without a taco.
I'm still running steeltreks at about 36 to 38 psi, looking at changing and increasing the rolling diameter in a few months.
