Series 2A Parts: Double Row pulleys on the 2.25 petrol
« on: January 18, 2014, 01:44:08 PM »
Australian Army Series 2A Parts

Hi there, I realise that as I build up my Series 2A Landy I can photograph and catalogue parts for our archives and with the help of forum members we can get it right, or at least discuss any alternatives that apply. This will help other members in the future of course.

Double Row pulleys on the 2.25 petrol engine.
If you are looking for the belts and looking for info: http://remlr.com/forum/index.php?topic=690.0

Uncle Ho's shed page has a lot of info, pure gold: http://www.remlr.com/sheds/khshedparts.html

R530304   Alternator pulley, double row
R530132   Dynamo pulley, double row (also listed as 54200002 and UZB901 to suit Lucas C40, C30 Gennys and Lucas ACR Alternator on this webpage: http://www.zafetta.com/product/alop0001 )
R574870   Water pump aka fan pulley, double row
R564376   Crankshaft pulley, double row

Are all of those those numbers correct?

Wouldn't it be good if the part numbers were embossed on the pulleys? But they are not...

Generator pulley:

Is this it the right part?

Today I took 4 pics of the crank pulleys I have.

One of them is incorrect I assume. One is a larger diameter, perhaps its a LR 6cyl part or non-LR altogether. The hole diameters and keyways look identical. The belt grooves look identical as well. Hmmm.

Larger diam 136mm approx, smaller diam 121mm approx. Gen pulley 81mm.
All have shaft diameters approx 32mm.

Taa Dennis. So the larger crank pulley is a win.
I wonder what the other belongs to.

Can you help regards the alternator and DR pulley you used for one of your Series 2A Landys.

hi Carzee,
The 4 cyl was standard through out the Series 3 fleet, only a few special applications had 6 cyl, such as Shorland.

I run twin belt  pulleys in my 109 (1968) and believe it is standard they are marked as M41  I believe that any belt supplier will understand that number.  Trust this will help Cheers BLUEY
