Servicing data placard 2A SWB
« on: October 20, 2015, 10:48:42 PM »
Evening all,

If possible, could someone with a 2A short wheel base post up a picture of the servicing data plate?

Part 2 of the placard project will include these, but we need to know the correct tyre pressures etc for the 88.

Here's the one I mean, this one for a 68 109 GS......

If anyone has a photo of the 88 one, that would be great.

Cheers,

Mike.

Thanks for that Pepe,

This issue was sorted out shortly after I posted it up in 2015.

These placards were produced, thanks to the help of some great REMLR contributors.

Cheers,

Mike.

No worries Pepe,

Is that your bulkhead in the photo?  Looks like it has had a hard life!

Thanks mike and yes the firewall is in bad shape as i found her parked up in paddock. The chassis is in good shape and i draw my motivation from that to keep me plodding along.
Question,  my chassis plate says that it belonged to 112 -724 which was a gunbuggy; it also said it had a chassis change;as now it has a gs hardtop cab. 724 seen service with 6RAR so wondering if the 88 i own would have been overseas ? Can you shed light on it.
Pepe

Interesting Pepe,

I see that the ARN ledger notes its Original chassis number was 24303907B.

Re built on Chassis 25145611D.

What Chassis do you have on your vehicle? The number should be on the rear spring hanger, passenger side.

The Vietnam ARN list does not have 112-724 listed, http://www.remlr.com/ARN/vietnam-landrover.php

Close though, it does show 112-723!

Let us know what you find,

Cheers,

Mike.
