The members of Queensland Military Vehicle Group Inc are a group of enthusiastic restorers whose aim is the authentic restoration of military vehicles and their associated equipment (manufactured from 1859 to date).
Membership is open to all people with similar interests. Please note that ownership of a vehicle or equipment is not a requirement for membership.
One of the aims of the Q.M.V.G. is to encourage members to portray their vehicles in a condition of maximum authenticity and to this end one function of the group is to provide a friendly forum through which members can exchange information to assist in this aspect of their restorations.
Members are also encouraged to display their vehicles at shows, swap meets and trips to places of interest. Many members are also involved in ANZAC Day and Australia Day parades. Also club arranged "Convoy runs" are a popular activity both for members and the admiring public. Through the Q.M.V.G. office, members are able to obtain club plates for the limited road use of right and left hand drive restored vehicles. After all the effort that went into restoring your vehicle - why keep it locked up in the garage?
