Sawmill is a shared love; Graeme D. actually purchased Sawmill and he aims to keep it 'as is' until Dennis and he come up with the money and the time needed to properly restore this Landy - and so far it has been running around quite reliably since escaping from an old sawmill in the coalfields. Sawmill did have to get a roadworthy check and some new 'Centenary' number plates to be road legal of course. (No, the Centenary plates don't mean Sawmill is a hundred years old - they commemorate the Centenary of Australia's Federation and the flag).

Graeme gave Sawmill a 'tidy-up' pressure-pak Brunswick green paint job for the 2001 'R & R' weekend where he used a bit of wire to fire up the ignition electrics. Unfortunately the wire (very much like other non-genuine parts) worked loose just at the wrong time. By the time the 2002 'R & R' came around, Sawmill looked much more original as Graeme had removed the hardtop and fitted a nice new canvas...
