Thats a lot of work and a lot of preparation, it is getting close.

I just had a taste of the atmosphere at the War Memorial Open Day. I'll put up some pics.

I am set to do another parts run and visit Newie next weekend via Bathurst (Justin) and Windsor (Matt+Jye).... and your good self for the Salisbury bits that go between the back wheels :)

Another productive day has almost passed, I moved vehicles about (Op Rubic's Cube) washed 4 Land Rovers, only 4 to go ::)
it has been a warm day here, the good wife is away in Sydney somewhere with the 'Bonsai' club, so I could park on the grass all day LOL, anyway here is the dusty Wksp before a wash

and this GS after a wash, note Wksp back in the depths of the shed

all the DBG coloured Land Rovers are now all covered hopefully to keep them relatively clean until the 25th, cheers Dennis

Op Rubic's Cube in play again this afternoon, 4 vehicles to be moved so I could get the 'bloodbox' out of the garage. It fired up just about straight away, last time it was running was early Nov 2012, anyway it's a big vehicle to clean, the turret was filthy, I could hardly see the Geneva Cross (and it's 3' in dia) all clean now and back in the shed

Geoff, mate Thanks for offer, shame that you had to come this way for a funeral, you never know we could meet up somewhere, anyway cheers Dennis :)

Well the 25th is over for another year, here are images from my day today

The convoy didn't run the way I wanted it too, some inconsiderate "'-/&$@ sod parked a ute where we needed to park, the ute owner was at the pub across the street,  hope he enjoyed his day, but he made it that much more difficult for veterans to access the Land Rovers, anyway rant over.
All vehicles had a Veteran riding in the front seat, Sgt A. Baird in the lead

Pvt W. Grosbernd in The Wksp

Shamefully I cannot recall this woman's name

Pte K. Andrew R.A.A.M.C

Pte N. Williams

LAC A. Govey (RAAF)

Cpl F. Rigby (with his G/son driving)

RAAF Mrs J. Lang

All vehicles performed faultlessly, two of them featured in the local TV coverage tonight along with an interview with Sgt. A. Baird, anyway a great day, very tiring, cheers Dennis.
