Next was the Mil Veh enthusiasts around the Cafe side road. I met Rick and friends Mal, Mark, Andrew (Acco 6x6 etc). Mark has a Series 2A 109 with red cross ala Ambo. I don't who owned the Workshop. I must join that AMEC club...

Slowly going through each post on the forum and i couldn't resit this one.

The AIF blokes  referred to marching behind the piper was MY mob (the Australian Great War Association (Vic)), the hobnails were mine as I'm the only one with them fitted  :P
All the marching, drill and blank firing was by us the other stationary blokes were the 18th bttn from NSW,
every chance I got I snuck away from the lines to go look at the landys parked near us,

It was a GREAT weekend. I was lucky enough to be there for two days, (the second was a private tour of the AWM and I even got to have a perv in the "not on display at the moment" armory when we had to put our Smle's in for the night)

http://www.agwa.org.au/  for anyone interested in WWI, thats the group i'm in

Nick

:) fantastic stuff Nick, would've been fantastic to meet you. Next year, same channel?

Your outfit and the others really were the best I'd seen.

Thanks,  well 2K+ in a uniform, plus rifle and regular drill nights to get us to the standard, we try our best to be true to the  first AIF.
With any luck, sure. if i can i may even come up in the GS S3 if its done in time.
