« on: October 24, 2012, 06:25:19 PM »
March 8th to March 10th 2013

The Australian East Coast Land Rover Festival is a 3 day event in March 2013, held out at the Grabine Lakeside State Park in NSW. Come meet and catch up with other Land Rover owners and enthusiasts.

Relax, catch up with mates and make some new ones along the banks of the Wyangala Dam. The organiser Peter Mercer (LRC-ACT) will  be putting on a host of activities ranging from scenic drives of the surrounding areas through to parades and Motorkhana events, along with entertainment and exhibitors throughout the site.

Hey Ross,
Hilton and I were going to go but have decided not to as Corowa follows very closely.

As of this morning's outpatient visit for Steven.... we won't be there. We're back to December -- visits to the Community Nurse every morning.

No, not on at all. We're tied for about 6 weeks as his little surgery from August has reopened and got a bit painful. Its his Year 12 too. Bad timing. Back in December we thought we past it.  :(

What a bugger!!!

Wasn't lifting a certain 2a tub that aggravated things, was it?

My best wishes to Stevie for a speedy recovery.

No, unlikely I think. It was all over we thought, when we visited it was about 8 or 9 weeks after they said it was all healed.

That's a wonderful and caring offer Diana.

Ross, there were a few military vehicles there. I managed to score a hair-raising ride up and down a very steep hill in a lightweight, driven by its local owner. The main tracks were pretty gouged up but he flew up there like he knew the way, leading a convoy of around 20 other adventurers.

We were the last to come down, closing and locking gates - and then he went off the track and we followed some sheep tracks down. Very exciting.

It was a great gathering - sad you missed it - I hope Steve is well on the road to recovery.

Well, these days everyone's a photographer. Every where I looked there were at least 2 cameras clicking away. I'm sure some of the pics will surface as the week goes by. Possibly over on AULRO. Most certainly on facebook. There were event photographers taking movie and stills of the grand parade so those will be interesting.
