Now THAT is a curiosity!!
Compliance plated as a 1998!
I had put it down as a typo, but it IS a 98.
So that means we can put a 4bd1 into anything up to a '98 model ;-);-)

I can't see the compliance plate, but the nomenclature plate says delivery 12/88.

This 6x6 is a late-build that was probably for a communication module or Parakeet component.

The Nomenclature plate has been removed, and I am wondering if the Parakeet vehicles are described on the Nom plate as Parakeet, or are they still a normal "Truck, light, GS"?

Grays call it a 1998 but plate says 95MY

That one, 202492 was a GS from start to finish as far as I can tell.

202-482 through to 202-518 were built as GS WW for Parakeet, but others such as 50-716 have been used for parakeet modules as we have a good photo of that one (being sold as a GS) with the parakeet module set up.

Date is a typo on that one I think.  The last bushrangers built (not refurbished) were the parakeet GS vehicles built in 1998, however I understand that they were built with existing, not new, engines, and a dispensation to do so was sought and granted. I don't know the relevant adr restriction, but certainly it is well before 1998 for the 4BD1 fitting.

This is the excess from the SME Museum.  The Mk5 wrecker has only ever been issued to the RAEME Training School and thence to the museum so very low mileage.  So one of the best F5 you'll ever find.
