50-555, the ambulance prototype appears to be in the NT auciton, but as a GS ?? how odd!

Just a warning to those looking at the current auctions.
If the log books are NOT listed, they are not there! It's taken me some time to clarify, but some of the higher priced units in Bris do NOT have log/service books with them.
Not sure if the info can be dug up from somewhere else, but it has put me off 2 vehicles, if I'm going to spend that much money.

Whats wrong with the wagons ? I'm interested but can't get there to look, hard to know what they're  like just going off the grays pictures.
Are they rebuilds or have they just had new speedo heads ?
Any help much appreciated.

Caveat Emtor!
 bne auction, lot 16.
Very tast from a distance and underneath but a significant amount on time in the TL salt air has taken a large toll.
Rusty door frames and vent surrounds, deep surface to full depth in places.
Sorry, don't have a photobucket ac. Can email photos.

My better half just gave me a ticket to Brisbane on Monday, so am coming up to have a look. Anyone else going to be around on Mon morning and we could all meet up and swap yarns and details over a coffee!
Shame about lot 16, but no books and its already at a stupid price so early in the auction.
