As far as I know, this Australian Frontline Machinery lot has them all to sell for defence.  So not sure if you have seen vehicles being refurbished or something else??  If it is for sale, then I am confused!

Well, some very good photo documentation of many Landy models etc.

For those restoring these items in 20 years time or whenever, can we check the obvious thing...who is saving all the large photo versions, especially interiors?

And who will go down to Grays Online depot and drop a REMLR membership leafleat into the glovebox of each vehicle :(

There is a Grays Online depot located at 222 Welshpool Rd here in Perth. I will be happy to drop off some leaflets when ADF vehicles come up for sale there.

Wow,  look at how many bidders there are.  The floodgates have been opened.

Let's hope there's one of those low mileage FFR's still left for little ole me when the
roadshow gets to Queensland.

So do these ex mil 110 have air con? anyone know?

Perhaps a bit redundant on a soft top version...

Also the EMEIs they have put up describe a light weight version but it looks like the total weights are very similar. What exactly are different with these?

Oh yeah...what do people reckon they will go for?

There is Armstrong steering isn't there?? ;)

No, no aircon at all in the land rovers (although I think the ambulance had it fitted in the rear body pod).

The trucks are lightweight in the army definitions, the 6x6 are classed as light, unimog as medium, and mack is heavy if I recall.  they are army classifications, not descriptions.

Suppose I should save some photos....

Ok, I am going to focus on photos of each variant, and all photos of rovers.  Otherwise there is too much to do.  Wonder if Australian Frontline Machinery would send me a DVD to make it easier LOL.

Anyway, details going into the database.  Photos and information being saved.  a stack of GS vehicles and trailers to go in this lot.  I've got 5 days LOL!!

Oh, and the website for Australian Frontline Machinery (AFM) has been updated.

The power steering can be retrofitted using the standard Defender/Disco 4 bolt PAS box and the PAS pump bolts directly into the timing case of the 4BD1.

The 6x6 already has PAS.

You wouldn't want the 110/county version of the air con, it took up the entire dash.
