Lots of guys in our club, and at Corowa, drive WW2 Jeeps without doors...

Howard

Could they legally sell these without windscreens? Are there doors behind the sidemounted spares? No doors = legal issue????
I currently own a Jeep Wrangler and I know all about trying to run a vehicle without doors!!!!!!

I'm in love too, but just trying to be a realist  :(

It's not in the current auction. It will have to be sold at some point.

There are doors that open behind the wheels.

They have to win them at auction. They dont get it any easier than us. Other wise I would get a job there.

Why not? It's not their responsibility to sell the vehicles in a roadworthy state.

The black turbo one is actually owned by the owner of Sell And Parker - the parent company, he had to buy it at auction on graysonline and it came from Darwin! just like the rest of us all vehicles MUST be sold and sold through Grays...

I really want that SRV variant!
Lots...............

I note that the bidder from Murwillumbah is active again.
If you place any creed in 'the grapevine', then a target total of 50 vehicles has been bandied about.   Let's hope they get there soon!!

Wondering if this is the UK connection?

Cheers,  Daryl.

Def not for export or a private army;-)
They will be put to work soon and the owner is very sympathetic to their intrinsic value. No pink resprays or gaudy attachments!

Did you get 50 425?
Dad and I went to look at them and Dad picked it as the best of the lot, looks very tidy  :)

I was interested in 49 602 (Cargo w. winch) which was pretty rough visually and 48 417 (ditto but sans canopy).
49 went for $8309 and 48 was around $6k during the gone going phase, jumped to $9009 by the end.
