are any of the trial vehicles still around or in private hands ie oka original g wagons jeep also what happen to the fleet of off the shelf vehicles that were bought in early 2002-04 ie ambulances and gs vehicles and cl fleet

Most/All? of the landrovers  bought have been sold. They went to auction last year sold for very high prices not sure about trials vehicls i thought most went back where they came from :)

when i left amb in late 2002 they were still using the oka because at this time they had just handed control of all gs vehucles to the army and the unimog the raaf had werea different model army had 1700 airforce had 1750. the tyres were generic to both the railer fleet and Mack ie one tyre fits all :)

THe 2000 and 2002 remediation land rovers have all been sold as far as we know, or at least were all offered for sale.  Unknown if Bandiana got any.

THe Jeeps and Gwagens from the army trials were sold off I understand, and at least one jeep and one gwagen are know to be alive by enthusiasts of the respective brands (not me, although I heard about one maybe in tas in original trial condition)
