I have always had a suspicion my 1972 Kombi (technically microbus) was ex army given the engine bay (rest of vehicle re painted prior to my ownership) has olive drab paint in it. After searching through for a long time I found the ARN (180524).
I'm sure it's a common question and I'm sorry it's not a Land Rover, but I'd love to chase down any knowledge about it. The most I know is that is was 'disposed' around 76 from 41st supply battalion in ? Keswick, South Australia.
