clutch issue?
« on: September 06, 2024, 08:07:15 PM »
looking for a bit of advice. My RFSV has suddenly started slipping in the clutch. It had a new Clutch installed a few years ago and has not done that many Ks on it so I dont think the Clutch is worn out. The vehicle does not get driven that much and this issue surfaced suddenly ie a week ago it was fine and yesterday it started to slip.
Is this likely to be a hydraulic lock issue with the master cylinder or slave cylinder? Pivot post issue?
Any advice welcome!

I am not familiar with the car but is it possible to watch the release-lever, while someone else depresses the pedal?

It might be the slave, or master cylinder sticking; or a return spring somewhere in the system not working, or missing,
