Workshop Trailer

Greetings,

I have restored as GS shorty in the uk and am currently building a Salvo landrover. Chance would happen that a workshop trailer would end up in the UK from a gent who used it for gold mining and towed it to the Uk when he came here to work, Its slightly modified but im looking to restore it to what it was. But im having an issue working out what it was. I have carefully found the data plate and have the following I have tried the web site but cant really find anything definitive, can anyone help with what this is\was?
looks like the contract number is C111710 Date looks like 01\64 but is very worn and again very worn looks like Platform body number 166 or 160.

Im also on the look out for a supplier of the Lunette rings as its come with a Hayman Reese hitch conversion which i cant use in the uk as its not type approved.

frontline Machinery has an auction starting this week. contact Drake Trailers for fittings for the lunette ring Also try one of the surplus stores in England. On salvage hunters, they did a story on a business that has a contract for selling all MOD surplus items.

So, going by the ARN list, the trailer with chassis number 160 was ARN (rego) 101-097, Census number 6015G, Trailer, Cargo, 1/2 ton, 7.5x16 tyres. Disposed of in NSW but no date listed.
If it is chassis 166, it should be ARN (rego) 101-093, Census number 6015G, Trailer, Cargo, 1/2 ton, 7.5x16 tyres. Disposed of in NSW but no date listed.
Looks like it was a standard No.5 trailer.
