2A and 3 Stub Axles
« on: November 24, 2012, 07:49:13 PM »
A question for the gurus out there amongst you REMLR chaps...
Is there any difference between the series 2A and series 3 stub axles.
I know the axles themselves differ in the number of splines but are the rest of the front bits interchangeable?

Cheers

Hi Wade,

the stub axles and hubs are different.

2a has a larger inner bearing whereas series 3 are same inner and outer.
Series 3 has a seal in the back of the stub axle.
Series 3 has larger diameter wheel studs.

The whole assemblies are interchangeable but not the individual parts.

OK
So what about swivel hubs and swivel housings, interchangeable or not?
