changing coolant

i am about to change my coolant on my rfsv Perentie, of course i want to remove as much of the old coolant as possible.  Does anybody know if there is a drain plug on the block of the4BD1and what is the best way to remove old coolant from the heater. i will be putting Penrite green 8 year coolant in. any tips would be appreciated, many ThanksJohnO

There will be one somewhere. Manufacturers usually hide them under manifolds, etc. where they are difficult to access.

Try getting under the car with a torch in hand,

if you are changing the coolant look at replacing the hoses and thermostat  and do a double flush if you have sufficient coolant I remove the coolant and add more coolant to flush out the old .

The block drain bung is behind the oil filter. It is a brass bung. Best way to flush it is to take the top cover off the thermostat housing and remove the thermostat. Drop the bottom radiator hose and put a hose in the thermostat housing until the water coming out the bottom is clean.

THANKS CHARLIE AND BEARMAN, YES I NOTICED THAT HEXAGON HEADED BUNG BEHIND THE FILTER THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT BE A DRAIN, JUST WANTED TO BE SURE, THANKS FOR YOUR HELP FELLAS.
