New 2a SWB project will commence soon. I have had a capstan winch under the bench for 20 years. Would this be an appropriate trinket for the "64?

I just pulled the winch out and it looks like I have a Series One model. According to this article it will not fit the 2 or 2a.

PS Had another look. The shape seems like the Series One in the article but the serial number is AEH-D which he says is Series 2 and 2a. Will have to wait until I get the vehicle home to see if it fits.
