Hi All.
I'm still looking for a Series 2a SWB chassis.
With the size of this site surely there is something out there?
Don't just hang on to it for a later date when it could be used now.
PM me if you have one or have a lead.
Thanks again.

Good luck.

A lot of the cheap, readily available stuff in Vic and NSW has been bought out by a couple of collector/exporters who are hell bent in filling their warehouse's and locking away the market for their own benefit.

Just keep hunting. Might be worth checking out the farm clearing sales etc.... and be prepared to travel.

Cheers.

Hi AGAS 5.
Thanks for the advice.
It seems that the majority of vehicles and parts are in Vic and Qld.
I'm prepared to travel within reason.
Looks like it's going to be a waiting game.
Hope I'm still motivated by the time one shows up.

So are you looking for a military chassis or a civilian chassis.  If the latter try asking on AULRO.

Also have you checked with All 4x4 in Kotara, not likely but you never know - they do have a lot of old stuff packed away.

Hi fc101.
I'm not too fussed on what chassis is available at this point as I just want to move forward.
Ideally Military is the best option but civilian will work.
I did try All 4x4 but they have no stock and the market has changed.
I'll give AULRO a try to spread the word.
Not looking good at the moment.

Gday. Its specifically what you didnt ask for, but I have a LWB 109 ex-mil 2a workshop chassis in Newcastle I could sell. And ex-mil 109 tub could sell with it (presuming you bring all the other pieces from your swb?). Let me know if that interests you.
I'm not completely useless.. I'm missing some of the pieces
