Wanted - Mk3 canopy bows, side posts and tailgate
« on: May 09, 2021, 08:02:22 PM »
Hi guys, I may have asked before but after 2 years searching I'm still on the lookout for canopy bows (even just one to copy), tray side posts & rear posts and a tailgate to suit a Mk3, Mk4 or 6x6 tray.

Any offers or leads appreciated

Cheers

Phill

For canopy bows, I had some made up and a few spare.
Bought the tube.
Got an engineering place to bend them.
Next job is to make and weld the tie loops and cut the ends to size.

Bump !

Just thought I’d have another go.

Anyone have even 1 spare bow I can use as a pattern !

Eventually need to make two full sets

Cheers

Hi Phil -
I have a MK3 and I'm happy to make a bow available to you. ? Corowa - are you going as I am in Portland and this might make the  transport and logistics easier.  I will need it back though as it is not a spare.   Do you have the side gates?  I have some spare ones in reasonable/rough condition.  Might even have a SH tilt somewhere.  Knowing Mick, anything he had made would be absolutely spot on.    Let me know your thoughts.    STDDIVER
