Mk3 Tailgate dimensions
« on: March 06, 2021, 02:59:59 PM »
Hello all,

Can anyone tell me the dimensions and weight of a Mk3 tailgate (without Tac plates)

I finally found one interstate but need to get it freighted to me.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Thankyou Bluebell,

It was a bit hard to quote the weight to freight company when I don't (yet) have one to weigh 👍

Cheers mate,

Just to sign off on this post,

After several astronomical freight quotes I ended up driving to Victoria and collecting the tailgate in person. Although restorable it is in poor condition and will go on the old Mk4 water/firewood farm truck.

Still seeking a good one for the Mk3 restoration project.

Cheers

Phill
