‘Skippy’ in a previous life
« on: September 11, 2020, 05:41:51 PM »
Found this pic of one of my former vehicles, ‘Skippy’ a series 2A 88 which I set up as a ‘convoy escort’ lookalike for the Bruce Rock Vietnam Veterans reunion and parade in WA about 10 or 12 years ago.

I had an AN/PRC-25 radio, .30 Cal Browning MG, pintle mount and sand bagged floors for the occasion. It was very well received.

Normally this vehicle was configured as a Forward Area Ambulance with stretcher brackets.

Long since sold off with much of the rest of my collection, I thought I saw a pic of it being restored somewhere so posted this up to add to the story.

Cheers

Phill
