Wipers stopping on occasions
« on: July 24, 2020, 05:41:17 PM »
G'day all,  I have been having a little problem with the wipers stopping mid cycle sometimes. Whether it being on intermediate or low. It will right itself sometimes quickly or with assistance. Does this sound like a dodgy column switch?
Cheers, Rob

Sounds more like a bad connection to me. Maybe if you pull all the contacts off and apply a little sandpaper it might help.

My wipers on the 6x6 stop because I thought the motor is that weak it cant overcome the resistance of the rubber over the glass when its not soaking wet.

Will have a look at the connections though

G'day Garry, I haven't had a chance to check my connections yet. If you get there first let me know how you went.
Cheers, Rob
