RSFV uni joint grease maintenence
« on: April 25, 2020, 08:07:23 PM »
how do you get at  the grease nipples in the middle of the uni joints? my standard grease gun does not fit in the gap. I have tried needle grease fitting from ebay but it did not work?

I find the best way to ensure the grease goes into them is to pull the driveshafts off and do it on the bench. Don't grease the one on the sliding joint until you put it back on.

If you can get access to someone with an air grease gun it should do the trick with the needle attachment. Thats how I do the job. :)

:D   I agree with bearman, seems stupid to have to remove a shaft to grease it though, make sure the shaft is in phrase as well ,TONA.
